Granary Cottage, originally built in 1899, has been lovingly converted and retains its many traditional features of beamed ceilings, painted stone walls and antique furniture. The cottage front door has an old-style canopy and leads into an attractive hallway with a high ceiling, painted stone walls and antique furniture from where a vintage door with small glass panes opens into the main living area. The living room includes lounge, dining area and kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining table seats 5 and there is a comfortable couch and 2 easy chairs as well as a writing desk in the lounge area. There is a flat screen Satellite TV, and free Wi Fi. ...en-suite master bedroom has canopied 5 ft double bed, antique furniture and wood burning stove making it the perfect place for reading, writing, or listening to music. The new en-suite bathroom has bath with shower, hand basin and toilet. The attic bedroom, more suited to children than adults, has 2 single beds and is much loved by children, and there is also a toilet on this floor. We have four other converted stone cottages on Warren Farm, located in an enclosed garden courtyard, each cottage having a private garden area with a patio table and chairs and BBQ. Horseshoe, Doyle's and Dairy cottages have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and Coach House has 1 bedroom and all have fully equipped kitchens, central heating and free Wi Fi. Granary cottage has its own driveway, parking area and a large private fragrant garden with garden furniture and BBQ.

Wexford located in the Sunny southeast of Ireland famous for its picturesque towns, wonderful food and great beaches is an ideal destination for family holidays or a relaxing 'get away from it all' holiday and there is a huge variety of places of interest when staying at Warren Farm.

Wexford has a rich and varied history, attracting many settlers and absorbing different cultures. The countryside has gently rolling hills, a rich patchwork of cultivated farmland, dotted with medieval castles and great houses. Its extensive coastline consists varies from long sandy beaches to the east with a more rocky coastline with pretty harbours and sandy coves to the south. Hook Head Lighthouse on the peninsula of the same name has a visitor facility and guided tours of this the oldest lighthouse in Europe from where whales can sometimes be seen.

Our strong Norman heritage is very evident in the Martello towers, and there are also many abbeys and castles to visit including Dunbrody Abbey, Tintern Abbey, Ballyhack Castle and Jerpoint Abbey which are open to the public.

The Blackstairs mountains north of New Ross are very popular for walking and hang gliding, and there are many lovely drives from Warren Farm which take in the mountains and pretty river valleys with charming villages to pause for some photos and a drink or a snack. The marked coastal path is also popular with walkers.







The extensive JFK Park/Arboretum has shrubs and trees from all over the world and visitors center with interesting audio visual presentations, and from the highest point in the park you can see the coastline and 5 counties.

The farm is located on the road between JFK Park and JFK Ancestral Home where the John F. Kennedy's great-grandfather was born, so this is Kennedy country and there is an interesting museum to visit at JFK Homestead down the road! The Irish National Heritage Park near Wexford is an exciting heritage trail introducing visitors to ring forts, crannogs, viking houses, monastic settlements, a celtic farm with traditional breeds of animals.

Local activities include horse riding, golf, Par 3, walking, water sports, visits to Dunbrody & Tintern Abbeys and local gardens and whale watching trips off Hook Head. Amongst the local festivities are the New Ross Dunbrody Festival in July and Piano Festival in September and the Steam & Vintage Rally in Whitechurch in August.

The Waterford Coast is a very pretty with high cliffs and little sandy coves and occasional picturesque villages and harbours. The newly opened Waterford Walking and Cycle Path uses the former railway route between Waterford City and Dungarvan and features beautiful high viaduct bridges, tunnels and underpasses, beautiful countryside and in places has fabulous coastal and sea views also. Bicycles can be hired by arrangement, and there are a number of car parking areas along the Route.
